A HISTORIC DAY FOR CILYCWM
Those present at the handover are, from the left representing the Chapel: Brian Jones, Audrey Price and Ann Theophilus. On their right representing Menter Cilycwm are: Aled Edwards, Thelma Stenning, Sarah Herbert Jones and Dick Turner.
Today the keys to Capel y Groes were passed from Ann Theophilus, representing the chapel trustees, to Aled Edwards representing Menter Cilycwm. The Chapel freehold is a gift from the Chapel members to the community, and is now the responsibility of Menter Cilycwm, who plan to develop it as a community centre.
As previously, the Chapel and/or it’s rooms are available for hire to local groups. Bookings should now be made with Thelma Stenning on 01550 720346 or by email to twynog@gmail.com
