O Mor Braf / Just S Scrumptious, the delicatessen in Llandovery, have just installed a scooping freezer to sell the high quality “Cow Pots” ice cream.
Much of the cream to make this comes from Steven and Mair Kavanagh’s Jersey cows at Abergwenlais Farm here in the village. It is sent by tanker to Cow Pots’ Pen y Back farm near Whitland, where it is turned into 8 different varieties of rich delicious ice cream.
Abergwenlais cream is also used in the making of two soft brie-style cheeses produced by Cow Pots which Liz of O Mor Braf will also be stocking. “Creamy Carousel” is a very creamy soft cheese and “Mouldy Mabel” a blue veined version – both, you guessed it – named after cows.
