The hills around Home Farm must be alive with – well at least the sound of singing. The talents of Aled Edwards, who divides his career between singing bass and breeding Limousin cattle, have been well appreciated locally for some time – not least for his leadership of “Cor Cyswllt Cilycwm”. Now we are delighted to learn that his wife Eleri has won the Blue Ribbon at the National Eisteddfod.
In the last year, both Iori and Francis Haugen have distinguished themselves at a national level: Iori in “Only Boys Aloud” and Francis on the West End stage. Back in 2007 another local girl, Rhiannon Marks, won the Urdd Eisteddfod crown.
