We have added to the information on the St Michael’s Church page so that it now includes useful information about the inscriptions on gravestones both in the church and in the graveyard.
Using the original documents typed by the Women’s Institute and kindly loaned by Mr John Milner, Thelma Stenning has translated the information onto a document to enable this valuable information to be made available to all on the Cilycwm website. In this endeavour Thelma was assisted by Anne Jones who edited the Welsh inscriptions.
We have tried to provide a true representation of the Women’s Institute’s original work but if any errors are found we will be happy to make amendments.
