Dick Turner has sent in his images of Comet Neowise, taken the same evening as Wilclikclik.
Dick says –
“I was awake at midnight so thought I would have a go. It was amazingly easy to see with the naked eye but very hard through the viewfinder. It’s the first time I’ve tried long exposure on my Sony camera and wasn’t sure how long to try. I got a fairly good result at 3.2 seconds, but very high ISO.
Even with just 3 seconds the turning of the earth shows up. I guess that the 64 million miles distance does make a difference!”
Amazing – well done!
